By Keke Jako The Professional Women Accountants in Nigeria (PROWAN), Taraba State Chapter, has donated cash and essential items to inmates at the Jalingo Medium Correctional Centre as part of efforts to support vulnerable members of society. The gesture, led by outgone Chairperson, Hon. Deborah Jonah Kashibu, included detergents, slippers, toothbrushes, sanitary pads and cash for the inmates. Speaking during the visit, the immediate past Chairperson of PROWAN Taraba State Chapter and National Representative, Hon Deborah Jonah Kashibu said the outreach was aimed at alleviating the plight of inmates and giving them a sense of belonging. She explained that the donation formed part of the association's annual programme of reaching out to people in need and touching lives across the society.
