MURDER: Police Order Dismissal, Prosecution of Officers Over Effurun Killing.

LAW: Nigerian Law School Releases 2025 Bar Final Results, Records 79.1% Pass Rate.

A public notice issued by the Council and dated April 20, 2026, showed that a total of 7,602 candidates sat for the examinations. According to the breakdown of results, 212 candidates made First Class, while 1,216 obtained Second Class Upper division. A total of 2,961 candidates earned Second Class Lower, while 1,622 secured Pass grades. The Council also recorded 314 candidates with Conditional Pass, while 1,067 candidates failed the examinations.
