CONDOLENCE: Taraba Environment Commissioner Barde Mourns Mambilla Queen Hajara Shehu Baju II

The Taraba State Commissioner for Environment and Climate Change, Hajiya Aishat A. Barde, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Her Royal Majesty, Hajiya Hajara Shehu Baju II, wife of His Royal Majesty, Dr. Shehu Audu Baju II.

Barde, in a condolence message, extended her heartfelt sympathies to the Mambilla Traditional Council, the royal family, and the people of Sardauna and Zing Local Government Areas over the royal mother's demise.

The Commissioner described the late Queen as a mother, a pillar of support, and a symbol of peace, unity and compassion whose wisdom, humility and motherly presence would be greatly missed.

She noted that the deceased's passing was not only a profound loss to the royal family and the Mambilla people but also to the wider Mumuye Nation, of which she was a beloved member.

Barde prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant her eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus.

She also prayed for divine comfort, strength and fortitude for the royal family, the Mambilla Traditional Council and the people of Sardauna to bear the irreparable loss.

The condolence message was conveyed on behalf of the Commissioner by Remission Lazere Alison.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. INSECURITY: Two suspected kidnappers nabbed in Mayo Dassa, Jalingo.

Troops of six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters ,Jalingo have dismantled a notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorizing parts of Jalingo and Lau Local Government Areas of Taraba State. A statement by Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations Six Brigade Nigeria Army headquarters, Jalingo, Captain Olubodunde Oni says the Brigade act on an intelligence report and two suspects, identified as Ali Idi and Haruna Umar were apprehended early this week. The statement adds that the culprits were captured during a raid at a local hotel in Mayo Dassa area of Jalingo metropolis where they were hiding.
