SARDAUNA LGA: Hon Seben Mourns Wuro Geroji, Mbara Tragedy, Calls for Urgent Security Intervention.

The Special Adviser to the Taraba State Governor on Christian Pilgrims Affairs, Hon. Deborah Mathew Seben, has expressed deep sorrow over the recent tragic incident in Wuro Geroji and Mbara communities under Mbamnga Ward, Mbamnga Constituency of Sardauna Local Government Area.

Hon. Seben, in a condolence message, condemned the incident, which reportedly resulted in loss of lives and the displacement of innocent residents.

She expressed sympathy with families who lost their loved ones and residents forced to flee their homes, describing the development as tragic and distressing.

The Special Adviser called on security agencies to take immediate steps to protect residents and restore security in Wuro Geroji, Mbara and neighbouring communities.

She also appealed to the Taraba State Government, through the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), the Federal Government, through the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), as well as humanitarian organisations, to urgently provide assistance to victims of the incident.

Hon. Seben further urged residents of the affected communities to remain calm and refrain from actions or statements capable of escalating tension.

She stressed the need for unity, peace and love among the people, praying that these values would continue to prevail across Mambilla land and Sardauna Local Government Area.

“May unity, peace and love continue to reign in Mambilla land and Sardauna Local Government entirely,” she said.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. INSECURITY: Two suspected kidnappers nabbed in Mayo Dassa, Jalingo.

Troops of six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters ,Jalingo have dismantled a notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorizing parts of Jalingo and Lau Local Government Areas of Taraba State. A statement by Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations Six Brigade Nigeria Army headquarters, Jalingo, Captain Olubodunde Oni says the Brigade act on an intelligence report and two suspects, identified as Ali Idi and Haruna Umar were apprehended early this week.
