The Peoples Democratic Party has cleared several aspirants seeking to contest Senate and House of Representatives seats ahead of the party’s forthcoming primary elections in Taraba State. Among the notable aspirants screened and cleared by the party are Dr. Jesse Ashumate Adi for the Taraba South Senatorial District and Rimamnde Shawulu Kwetrum for the Takum/Donga/Ussa Federal Constituency. Leah Solomon insisted that she remains fully in contention and urged party supporters to disregard what she described as false reports circulating about her withdrawal.
