The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant for the Gassol II State Constituency seat, Joseph Ezekiel Dadason, has been screened and cleared to contest ahead of the party’s primary elections.
Hon. Dadason appeared before the screening panel chaired by Stephen Ibrahim Agya in Jalingo, where he successfully completed the party’s screening process.
The exercise attracted a large number of supporters, political associates, and well-wishers from Gassol II Constituency, who accompanied the aspirant to the venue in a show of solidarity and confidence in his ambition.
Speaking with journalists shortly after the screening, Hon. Dadason expressed appreciation to the PDP leadership and members of the screening committee for what he described as a transparent and credible exercise.
The State Assembly hopeful reaffirmed his determination to provide purposeful and people-oriented representation if elected in 2027, stressing that the people of Gassol II deserve better opportunities and inclusive development.
According to him, the constituency has for years faced challenges in critical sectors such as youth empowerment, healthcare delivery, and human capital development, noting that these areas would receive urgent attention under his leadership.
He pledged to champion policies and programmes that would improve the living conditions of constituents, create opportunities for young people and women, and attract meaningful development projects to communities across the constituency.
Hon. Dadason further assured residents that his aspiration is driven by a genuine desire to serve the people and deepen democratic dividends at the grassroots level.
He called on party faithful and supporters to remain united and committed to the ideals of the PDP as preparations intensify for the forthcoming elections.
