Church: Southern Conference of United Methodist Church UMC in Taraba State distances itself from approval of Same-sex marriage.

The Leadership of the United Methodist Church UMC Southern Conference have frowned at the approval of Same-sex marriage by the United Methodist Church General Assembly recently. The Southern Conference leadership in a press conference in Jalingo said the lifting of the ban on homosexuals at the UMC General Conference held in Charlotte North Carolina was unholy, unethical and unbiblical. Addressing the Journalists at the United Methodist Church UMC Mayo Gwoi Jalingo, the leader of the Church Reverend Philip Micah Dopah remarked that the decision would not see the light of day in the Southern Conference of the United Methodist as they are well grounded in the teaching of the Holy Bible. One year anniversary: Governor Agbu rated high in developing Taraba.

Governor Agbu Kefas administration has been rated the best in the history of Taraba State. Special Adviser to Taraba State Governor on Media and Digital Communications Emmanuel Bello stated this in a Chat with Jalingo Times. He said the Governor Dr Agbu Kefas has performed excellent in his first anniversary in office. Free education: Gov Agbu vows to clamp down on saboteurs.

Jethro Yerga, Jalingo. ANNIVERSARY: Gov Dr Agbu Kefas's giant strides were commended on his first anniversary in office.

Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has been applauded for his sterling leadership style. A senior lecturer at Taraba State Polytechnic Suntai Jalingo Campus Department of Computer Science Kamalu Aliyu Babando made the commendation in a statement. TARABA: Gov Kefas approves the release of another trench of one billion naira for payment of gratuity.

Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has directed the release of another one billion naira to continue payments of gratuities. This is coming hours to his first year anniversary in office. In a statement by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Digital Communications Mr Emmanuel Bello.  The statement reveals that the commissioner of finance, Dr Sarah Enoch Adi, said the governor gave the directive as part of his commitment to offsetting all gratuities and pensions backlog. The Finance Commissioner describes his actions as full of passion and zeal to confront the debts. DR Adi says that this was the second time the payments were getting huge funds to settle arrears.  The commissioner noted that the gratuities are being paid most transparently, stressing the need for proper documentation for prompt actions. Health: As the World commemorate Menstrual Cycle Day, Taraba First lady distributes sanitary pads to Young female students in Appawa.

Wife of Taraba State Governor Agyin Kefas has Distributed Sanitary pads to Female students of government Day Secondary School, Appawa to mark this year World Menstrual Hygiene Day. The Governor's wife said Menstruation is a healthy and normal process that involves vaginal bleeding every month. She said the distribution of the sanitary pads is to assist the female students used it during their monthly flows. Agyin Agbu kefas urged female students to embrace personal hygiene.  Taraba State Governor Doctor Agbu Kefas has been applauded for prioritizing the transformation of the College of Nursing Science and Midwifery Jalingo. Provost of the College of Nursing Science and Midwifery Jalingo Esther Gana made the commendation while commenting on the first anniversary of Governor Agbu Kefas in office.
