One year anniversary: Governor Agbu rated high in developing Taraba.

Governor Agbu Kefas administration has been rated the best in the history of Taraba State.

Special Adviser to Taraba State Governor on Media and Digital Communications Emmanuel Bello stated this in a Chat with Jalingo Times.

He said the Governor Dr Agbu Kefas has performed excellent in his first anniversary in office.

The Governor's spokesman mentioned achievements recorded in the Education sector where Students tuition fees was slashed by fifty percent in all the State-owned tertiary institutions, declaration of Free and compulsory primary and secondary school Education as unprecedented.

Emmanuel Bello further mentioned the giant strides in the Agricultural sector where over two hundred tractors were launched recently to enhance food production as well as procurement of chemicals, fertilizer, seeds and pesticides.

According to him,the Kefas's administration has also within its first anniversary embarked on renovation of Health facilities across the state,as the Lissam Hospital in Ussa Local government Area has been completed while the renovation of referral hospital in Bali and Gassol local government areas are ongoing.

Bello said now that a solid foundation has been laid,the government will now consolidate on it to bring in more developments.

He revealed that vehicles for the transportation of students to Schools in the state have been procured and will soon arrive Jalingo.

The Special Adviser said more structures will be constructed in public schools in the state even as Government work hard to ensuring that Colleges Health and Nurses and Midwives Takum and Jalingo to raised Health workers, nurses and Midwives.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area.
