ANNIVERSARY: NANNM TARABA STATE CHAPTER FETES GOVERNOR AGBU KEFAS ON HIS FIRST ANNIVERSARY IN OFFICE.


The Chairman National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives, NANNM Taraba State chapter Comrade Pius Merigi Nathaniel on behalf of the leadership of the association wish to felicitate with the Executive Governor Dr Agbu Kefas on his first anniversary in office.

In a statement, the association also rejoices with Deputy Governor Alh Aminu Abdullahi Alkali, the speaker of Taraba State House of Assembly RT Hon John Kizito Bonzena, the SGS Barr Gebon Timothy Kataps, members of the executive council and all Tarabans on the first anniversary of the present government in the state.

The association commended the Initiatives of the state government in the areas of Health, Education, security and Agriculture.

It congratulates the Governor for clocking one year in office in good health and sound mind urging him to continue with the good work he has started in shaping the State.

The Association reiterate its undiluted support to the Present Government in the state, expressing the hope the Governor will consider the Implementation of the Consolidated Health Salary Structure CONHESS for Nurses and Midwives in the state to boost their morale for effective service delivery.

It also adds that the State Government should implement the uniform and Hazard Allowances of the Nurses, and employ more nurses to fill in the vacuum created following the retirement of over three hundred Nurses from the service.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area.
