Anniversary: Celebrating a year of progress; Hon Gov Kefas says ALGON Chairman Taraba State Chapter.


The Executive Chairman of Jalingo Local Government Council, who also serves as the ALGON Chairman of Taraba State and the National ALGON Welfare Officer, Hon Dr Aminu Jauro Hassan has felicitatedvGovernor Agbu Kefas on his first anniversary in office.
Dr Hassan in a statement issued in Jalingo said he takes immense pride in celebrating His Excellency, Dr Agbu Kefas, the Governor of Taraba State, on the occasion of his first anniversary in office.
The statement says this milestone marks a significant period of growth, development, and visionary leadership under Dr. Agbu Kefas. 

It remarks that his relentless commitment to the prosperity of Taraba State has been evident through his various initiatives and policies aimed at enhancing the quality of life for all citizens. 
It recalls that over the past year, Governor Kefas has demonstrated exceptional leadership by Promoting Economic Growth and implementing policies that have stimulated local businesses, attracted investments, and fostered economic diversification. 
It adds that these measures have not only boosted the state's economy but have also created job opportunities.

The statement assured the unalloyed support of Local government areas in the state to his Government to reap more dividends of democracy.
The chairman canvasses support and cooperation from all and sundry to the present government to enable it execute more life touchlife-touching the state

TARABA: Jenjo Youth Wing Disowns Magaji Gago’s Alleged Remarks Against Kefas, Reaffirms Loyalty.

The leadership of the Jenjo Youth Wing has publicly distanced itself from alleged remarks credited to Mr. Magaji Bulus Gago, popularly known as Max B, against Taraba State Governor, , and the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, . INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. According to Ismaila, the Bissaula community was thrown into panic on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at about 8:00 p.m., when unknown gunmen, suspected to be members of the Ndaka-Chamba militia, stormed the village and opened fire. Their primary target was said to be Baba Umaru Gambo, a former youth leader of the community and current Commander of the Taraba Marshal in Kurmi Local Government Area.
