The inclusion of women in socio-political matters has been identified catalyst for all-round development in a society. This was the position of stakeholders at a Town Hall Meeting organized by Women's Rights Advancement Protection Alternative, WRAPA, in partnership with the Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre, PLAC in Yola. The Chairman of the Taraba State Bureau For Peace And Conflict Management (TSBPCM) Bishop Innocent Rubiruka Solomon has commended the wisdom of H.E Dr Agbu Kefas The Executive Governor of Taraba State for setting up a Peace Commission of Enquiry into a recent violent crisis that rocked Karim Lamido LGA and other related situations with consequential losses of lives and property and disruption of peace and harmony in some parts of the state. The Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria YOWICAN Northeast Zone Evangelist Ephesians Jesse has applauded Governor Agbu Kefas for championing the course to develop Taraba State. KARIM CRISIS: Chairperson WOWICAN Taraba State Chapter Alice Nuhu condoles Munga Lelau families, others calls for arrest of perpetrators.

Chairperson of the Women Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria WOWICAN Taraba State Chapter Alice Nuhu has condemned attacks on Munga Lelau, Bandawa and Munga Dosso communities of Karim Lamido Local Government Areas by Suspected militias. Alice Nuhu in a statement issued to newsmen, described the incident as barbaric, unethical and devilish. The Chairperson's statement partly reads' I am writing to express my heartfelt condolences for the tragic loss of 37 lives due to the recent attack by armed bandits in your community.
