KARIM CRISIS: Chairperson WOWICAN Taraba State Chapter Alice Nuhu condoles Munga Lelau families, others calls for arrest of perpetrators.

Chairperson of the Women Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria WOWICAN Taraba State Chapter Alice Nuhu has condemned attacks on Munga Lelau, Bandawa and Munga Dosso communities of Karim Lamido Local Government Areas by Suspected militias.

Alice Nuhu in a statement issued to newsmen, described the incident as barbaric, unethical and devilish.

The Chairperson's statement partly reads' I am writing to express my heartfelt condolences for the tragic loss of 37 lives due to the recent attack by armed bandits in your community. The brutality of this violence is beyond comprehension, and I cannot begin to imagine the pain and sorrow that you are collectively experiencing".


According to her during this difficult time,she assured the affected families that the WOWICAN members  thoughts and prayers are with them .
She lamented that the lives lost were not merely statistics; they were valued members of your families, your friends, and your community, noting that their absence will be deeply felt, and the grief of their loved ones will take time to heal.

She added that the  entire Christian community stands with them in solidarity and support, saying  as they navigate through this tragedy, may they find strength and comfort in one another, and may the bonds of their community help carry you through this difficult journey.

"In times of darkness, the light of faith and togetherness often shines the brightest. I pray that you find peace and solace in your shared beliefs and that your community emerges from this profoundly painful experience with resilience and hope for a better future" the state added.
The Chairperson called independent investigation to identify the root causes of the crisis as well as arrest of those involved to face the full wrath of the law.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area.
