The President of the Arewa Youths Assembly for Good Leadership (AYAGL), Alhaji Danbature Abdul-Hamid, has pledged to mobilise massive support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu across Northern Nigeria, particularly the North-East, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Danbature, who is also a member of the Presidential Campaign Council, said President Tinubu deserves a second term to consolidate the gains of his Renewed Hope Agenda, citing what he described as significant achievements in education, infrastructure, security, economic reforms and youth empowerment.

He identified the establishment of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), investments in major road projects, including the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and Sokoto-Badagry Super Highway, increased funding for security agencies, agricultural interventions and youth-focused programmes as some of the administration's notable achievements.

According to him, the Renewed Hope Agenda is gradually restoring public confidence in governance and creating a foundation for sustainable national development.

Speaking on developments in Taraba State, the AYAGL President commended Governor Agbu Kefas for aligning with President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda and mobilising stakeholders to support its implementation.

He particularly applauded the governor's free education policy at the primary and secondary school levels, as well as the 50 per cent reduction in tuition fees in tertiary institutions, describing the initiatives as consistent with the President's vision of expanding access to education.

Danbature said he had continued to engage youths, community leaders, traditional rulers, women groups and other stakeholders across the North-East, leveraging his grassroots connections to promote the administration's policies and programmes ahead of the 2027 elections.

He explained that his mobilisation strategy goes beyond political campaigns, stressing the need to build public trust, simplify government policies for ordinary citizens and strengthen the connection between grassroots communities and the Federal Government.

The AYAGL President urged youths across Northern Nigeria to reject divisive politics and unite behind President Tinubu in 2027, describing continuity as essential for sustaining ongoing reforms, political stability and national development.
