TRIBUTE: Christians Urged to Live Exemplary Lives as Hannatu David Nyah Is Laid to Rest.

Christians have been urged to live lives worthy of emulation, with the assurance that those who remain faithful to God's teachings will receive eternal reward.

The charge was given by Reverend Father Ephraim Sani during the funeral Mass of the late Hannatu David Nyah held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cathedral, Shavon Mile Six, Jalingo.

In his homily, Father Sani, while reflecting on the Gospel reading from Second Peter Chapter Three, said God has prepared an eternal resting place for those who live exemplary and Christ-centred lives on earth.

The cleric reminded the congregation that death is inevitable for every human being and urged Christians to always strive to live in a manner that pleases God, stressing that everyone will one day give an account of their lives before their Creator.

He also consoled the bereaved family, friends and colleagues of the deceased, encouraging them to take solace in God and find strength in the hope of the resurrection.

Speaking on behalf of the husband's family, a representative Mr Felix Babayo expressed appreciation to all who sympathised with the family during the period of mourning, describing the overwhelming support as a testament to the love and respect the late Hannatu David Nyah enjoyed during her lifetime.

Also speaking, the Acting Chairperson of the Cathedral Administration described the deceased as a devoted Christian whose exemplary life would remain a source of inspiration. In a separate condolence message, Reverend Father Ferdinando Madaki, represented by the Special Adviser on Christian Religious Matters, Very Reverend Father Sunday Patrick Muke, condoled the family and the church, praying God to grant the deceased eternal rest.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. INSECURITY: Two suspected kidnappers nabbed in Mayo Dassa, Jalingo.

Troops of six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters ,Jalingo have dismantled a notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorizing parts of Jalingo and Lau Local Government Areas of Taraba State. A statement by Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations Six Brigade Nigeria Army headquarters, Jalingo, Captain Olubodunde Oni says the Brigade act on an intelligence report and two suspects, identified as Ali Idi and Haruna Umar were apprehended early this week.
