Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has congratulated the State Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, Barrister Philemon Audu Daffi, on his elevation to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
In a congratulatory message issued on Friday, the governor described the conferment as a well-deserved recognition of Daffi's outstanding contributions to the legal profession and the administration of justice.
Mutfwang said the Attorney General's emergence among the successful candidates for the 2026 SAN conferment reflects his exceptional competence, unwavering integrity and commitment to the pursuit of justice.
According to the governor, the elevation is not only a personal achievement for Daffi but also a source of pride for the government and people of Plateau State.
He expressed confidence that the Attorney General's wealth of experience and professional excellence would further enhance justice delivery and strengthen the rule of law in Plateau State and Nigeria at large.
Governor Mutfwang also congratulated Sunday Samuel Obande and other distinguished legal practitioners, including the academic elevated to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria in the 2026 exercise.
He commended the new Senior Advocates for their hard work, resilience and unwavering commitment to upholding the rule of law and the highest standards of legal practice and legal scholarship.
The governor urged the newly elevated SANs to continue deploying their knowledge, expertise and experience toward advancing justice, deepening democratic values and contributing to national development.
On behalf of his family, the Plateau State Government and the people of the state, Mutfwang wished Barrister Daffi and all the newly elevated Senior Advocates sound health, greater accomplishments and continued success in their service to the legal profession and the nation.
