A high-powered delegation representing former Senator Emmanuel Bwacha and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Gubernatorial Candidate has paid a condolence visit to the Mumuye community in Mutum Biyu, Gassol Local Government Area of Taraba State, following the death of the Mumuye traditional ruler, Kpanti James A. Shalla.
The delegation, led by Hon. Yahaya Garba and accompanied by Hon. Japheth Ezekiel Dadason and Hon. Nuhu Khalil Sarkin Zango, conveyed Senator Bwacha's heartfelt sympathies to the royal family, the Mumuye community and the people of Gassol over the passing of the revered monarch, who reportedly died after a brief illness.
Speaking during the condolence visit, the delegation described the late traditional ruler as a respected leader whose reign was marked by wisdom, peace and commitment to the development and unity of the Mumuye people.
Responding on behalf of the Mumuye community, the State Vice Chairman of the Mumuye Cultural Development Association, Hon. Philip Barau, JP, expressed appreciation to Senator Bwacha for identifying with the community during its period of mourning.
He described the former senator as a true democrat and a dependable friend of the Mumuye nation, noting that he has consistently demonstrated genuine concern for the welfare and progress of the community.
Barau prayed for God's continued guidance, protection and success for Senator Bwacha in his future endeavours.
Also speaking, the Chairman of the Mumuye Cultural Development Association (MCDA), Gassol Chapter, Daniel Mashi, thanked Senator Bwacha for the condolence gesture and commended his longstanding relationship with the Mumuye people.
He prayed that God would continue to grant the former lawmaker wisdom, strength and success in all his aspirations.
