POLITICS:BADAWAIRE NORTHERN YOUTHS BACK TINUBU, KEFAS FOR 2027, LAUNCH GRASSROOTS MOBILISATION DRIVE.

A coalition of youths under the banner of the Badawaire Northern Youths Movement has declared its support for the second-term aspirations of President and Governor ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The group made its position known during a meeting where members unanimously endorsed both leaders, citing their commitment to development, peace, and good governance.

Speaking on behalf of the movement, the youths reaffirmed their loyalty to the ruling (APC) and pledged to strengthen grassroots support for the party across the Northern Zone of Taraba State.

The coalition also called on members of the APC in the state to embrace unity, peace, and harmony, stressing that internal cohesion would be critical to the party's future electoral success.

According to the group, Governor Kefas has demonstrated visionary leadership and recorded notable achievements in efforts aimed at restoring peace, fostering unity, and advancing development across Taraba State.

The youths further announced the commencement of a grassroots engagement and outreach campaign across communities in the Northern Zone, saying the initiative is designed to showcase the achievements of the Kefas administration and mobilise wider support for the APC.

They expressed their commitment to remaining united and working collectively to communicate what they described as the governor's developmental strides to residents across the zone.

The movement urged supporters and party faithful to rally behind President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Kefas' administration, describing both leaders as key drivers of progress and stability.

In addition, the group congratulated Governor Kefas for what it described as his strategic leadership role and political experience, which it said contributed to the APC's victory in the recently concluded governorship election in .

The coalition maintained that sustained grassroots mobilisation, party unity, and support for the APC leadership at both state and national levels would strengthen the party's prospects ahead of future elections.

They pledged  to expand their outreach efforts and consolidate support for the APC across Taraba State.

INSECURITY: Two suspected kidnappers nabbed in Mayo Dassa, Jalingo.

Troops of six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters ,Jalingo have dismantled a notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorizing parts of Jalingo and Lau Local Government Areas of Taraba State.  A statement by Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations Six Brigade Nigeria Army headquarters, Jalingo, Captain Olubodunde Oni says the Brigade act on an intelligence report and two suspects, identified as Ali Idi and Haruna Umar were apprehended early this week. INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. According to Ismaila, the Bissaula community was thrown into panic on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at about 8:00 p.m., when unknown gunmen, suspected to be members of the Ndaka-Chamba militia, stormed the village and opened fire. Their primary target was said to be Baba Umaru Gambo, a former youth leader of the community and current Commander of the Taraba Marshal in Kurmi Local Government Area.
