POLITICS: PDP Rep Candidate Sule Andenati Gets Massive Support Push from Takum, Donga, Ussa, Yangtu Stakeholders.

The Andenati Support Group has called on the people of Takum, Donga, Ussa Local Government Areas and Yangtu Special Development Area to unite behind Hon. Sule Yakubu Andenati, the PDP House of Representatives candidate for the constituency.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, June 24, by Teb Kaka, Spokesperson of the Andenati Support Group, the group said the time has come for collective action behind a leader with vision, dedication, and genuine commitment to community progress.

“Hon. Sule Yakubu Andenati has consistently demonstrated leadership, integrity and a passion for grassroots development,” the statement read. “His commitment to youth empowerment, infrastructure development, education and community welfare makes him the ideal choice to represent our people.”

The group urged all stakeholders, youths, women, elders and supporters across the constituency to give their massive support to Hon. Andenati as he seeks to serve and advance the collective interests of the people.

Political observers in Takum described the endorsement as “timely and strategic,” noting that the constituency needs a representative with proven grassroots connection. 

“At a time when unity is critical across Takum, Donga, Ussa and Yangtu, Hon. Andenati presents a bridge-builder profile,” said one stakeholder who asked not to be named. “His track record with youth and community projects gives voters confidence.”

A women leader from Ussa LGA also commended the call: “The constituency needs someone who will carry the voices of women and youths to Abuja. From what we’ve seen, Andenati understands that.”

“Together, we can build a brighter future for Takum, Donga, Ussa, and Yangtu,” Kaka concluded.

INSECURITY: Two suspected kidnappers nabbed in Mayo Dassa, Jalingo.

Troops of six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters ,Jalingo have dismantled a notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorizing parts of Jalingo and Lau Local Government Areas of Taraba State.  A statement by Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations Six Brigade Nigeria Army headquarters, Jalingo, Captain Olubodunde Oni says the Brigade act on an intelligence report and two suspects, identified as Ali Idi and Haruna Umar were apprehended early this week. INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. According to Ismaila, the Bissaula community was thrown into panic on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at about 8:00 p.m., when unknown gunmen, suspected to be members of the Ndaka-Chamba militia, stormed the village and opened fire. Their primary target was said to be Baba Umaru Gambo, a former youth leader of the community and current Commander of the Taraba Marshal in Kurmi Local Government Area.
