DONATION: Yakubu Sule Foundation Extends Economic Relief to Takum, Donga, Ussa & Yangtu SDA Amid Hardship

By Jako Keke, June 22, 2026.
In a move to alleviate the biting effects of Nigeria’s current economic hardship, Mrs. Esther Yakubu Sule, Director of Nati Group of Schools, has disbursed cash support to less privileged families across Takum, Donga, and Ussa Local Government Areas, as well as Yangtu Special Development Area.

The intervention was executed under the Yakubu Sule Foundation, a humanitarian platform founded by her son, Hon. Yakubu Sule Andenati, PDP aspirant for the Takum, Donga and Ussa Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The beneficiaries included widows, elderly citizens, persons living with disabilities, and daily wage earners whose livelihoods have been strained by rising food prices and inflation. Cash grants were distributed at designated centers in all four areas to ensure direct impact.

Represented by Alhaji Muazu Mandela, Mrs. Sule said the gesture was “in appreciation of the love, prayers, and massive support shown to my son since he declared his intention to serve our people at the National Assembly in 2027.”

“This hardship is temporary, but our unity and compassion must be permanent. My son’s vision is a Federal Constituency where every mother can feed her children and every child can go to school without fear,” she added.

The Yakubu Sule Foundation has intensified outreach in recent months. In March 2026, it conducted large-scale food distribution and free medical care in Takum and Ussa LGAs, attending to over 500 patients and 300 households.

The beneficiaries received the support with joy and prayers. One of them, Mrs. Rebecca Kaigama from Ussa, said, “My business collapsed after prices went up. This cash will restock my shop. God will reward Mama Esther and her son.”

The program ended with prayers for peace and unity, as beneficiaries pledged support for Andenati’s 2027 House of Representatives bid.

Hon. Yakubu Sule Andenati, popularly called “Andenati,” has been gathering momentum since declaring his House of Reps ambition early this year. Political observers describe him as a man with strong social capital, adding that his receptive nature and interpersonal relationships, alongside his family’s grassroots interventions, are building strong goodwill ahead of the general elections.
