SALLAH: PDP Felicitates Muslims on Eid-El-Kabir, Urges Prayers for Taraba.

The in Taraba State has congratulated Muslim faithful across the state and Nigeria on the occasion of the 2026 Eid-El-Kabir celebration, calling for prayers, vigilance, and unity among citizens.

In a statement issued on Wednesday by the party’s Publicity Secretary, , the party, under the leadership of , described Eid-El-Kabir as a sacred period that symbolizes sacrifice, obedience, love, tolerance, and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah.

The statement noted that the festival serves as a reminder of the virtues of selflessness, compassion for humanity, and unwavering faith in God.

According to the party, the season offers an opportunity for Muslims and other residents to pray for peace, progress, and prosperity in Taraba State and the nation at large.

The PDP also prayed for Allah’s mercy, divine protection, good health, and abundant blessings upon Muslim families during the celebration.

“As you celebrate with your families and loved ones, may Almighty Allah uplift our dear state and nation from every challenge confronting us,” the statement added.

The party further wished Muslim faithful a peaceful, joyful, and spiritually rewarding Eid-El-Kabir celebration.

INSECURITY: Two suspected kidnappers nabbed in Mayo Dassa, Jalingo.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. According to Ismaila, the Bissaula community was thrown into panic on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at about 8:00 p.m., when unknown gunmen, suspected to be members of the Ndaka-Chamba militia, stormed the village and opened fire.
