A prominent stakeholder in , Hon. Bulus Maiyaki, popularly known as Makaman Donga, has distributed rams to Muslim leaders and other stakeholders across the local government area ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
The gesture, according to Maiyaki, was aimed at supporting Muslim faithful to celebrate the Sallah festival with joy while promoting peace, unity, religious tolerance, and harmonious coexistence among residents of the area.
Speaking during the distribution exercise, the politician and philanthropist urged residents of Donga to use the Eid-el-Kabir period to pray for the administration of and for continued peace and development in .
He also called on the people to rally support for the ruling ahead of forthcoming elections, urging voters to support , Governor Kefas, and other APC candidates across the state.
Maiyaki noted that the impact of Governor Kefas’ “Moving Forward Agenda” and the Federal Government’s “Renewed Hope Initiative” is already being felt in several critical sectors, adding that continued support for the APC would further accelerate development.
“Let us continue to pray for God’s guidance upon Governor Agbu Kefas as he works for the progress of Taraba State. We should also support him, President Tinubu, and all APC flagbearers in the forthcoming elections,” he stated.
Hon. Maiyaki, widely regarded as a grassroots mobiliser and philanthropist in Donga and beyond, has over the years supported several community-based interventions, including power supply projects, educational scholarships, food distribution programmes, and employment opportunities for youths.
Some beneficiaries of the gesture expressed appreciation for the donation, describing it as timely and impactful. They also offered prayers for Maiyaki’s continued good health, wisdom, and success in his service to humanity.
