The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Convention 2026 in Abuja witnessed a show of solidarity and renewed enthusiasm as party faithful gathered under the banner of unity and political resurgence.
Among prominent voices at the event was Professor Jerome Nyameh, popularly referred to by supporters as “The People’s Professor,” Governorship aspirant of Taraba State who energized the crowd with chants of “PDP Power,” reinforcing confidence in the party’s structure and future.
Nyameh, associated with the “Taraba Therapy” movement, used the platform to connect with delegates and stakeholders, particularly from Taraba State, signaling growing grassroots mobilization ahead of future political contests.
He was visibly seen exchanging pleasantries with Party's stakeholders at the Venue of the Convention in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory,FCT.
The convention, which drew delegates from across the country, served as a strategic gathering for the PDP to consolidate its internal cohesion and outline its direction in Nigeria’s evolving political landscape.
Observers say the presence and active participation of emerging figures like Nyameh reflect a broader effort within the party to blend experience with new leadership energy as it positions itself for upcoming elections.
