2027: HON.Princes Leah Solomon Declares for House of Representatives Seat, Seeks Public Support.

A seasoned politician, Hon. Princess Leah O. Solomon, has formally declared her intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Jalingo, Yorro, and Zing Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Her declaration, captured in a campaign poster bearing the slogan “In God We Trust 2027,” signals the start of what observers describe as a potentially competitive race within the constituency. The poster also features the logo of the All Progressives Congress (APC), indicating her political platform.

Hon. Solomon, who has been active in politics for several years, is presenting herself as an experienced and grassroots-oriented candidate. A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. Troops of six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters ,Jalingo have dismantled a notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorizing parts of Jalingo and Lau Local Government Areas of Taraba State. A statement by Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations Six Brigade Nigeria Army headquarters, Jalingo, Captain Olubodunde Oni says the Brigade act on an intelligence report and two suspects, identified as Ali Idi and Haruna Umar were apprehended early this week.
