Spinal Cord Injury Association Felicitates Commissioner Filister Musa Irarimam on Birthday

The Spinal Cord Injury Association of Nigeria (SCIAN), Taraba State Chapter, has joined well-wishers across the state to celebrate the birthday of Commissioner Dr. (Mrs.) Filister Musa Irarimam, describing her as a leader dedicated to social justice and citizen welfare.

In a congratulatory message signed by the Chairperson of the association, Mary James Gaisa, SCIAN lauded the Commissioner for her commitment to the reintegration and well-being of vulnerable groups, including persons living with spinal cord injuries.

“We appreciate your dedication to promoting social justice and reintegration in Taraba State, and we are grateful for your leadership,” the message read.

The association further prayed for continued divine protection, guidance, and good health for the Commissioner, expressing hope that her work would continue to positively impact countless lives in the state.

Dr. Irarimam, who is widely recognized for her contributions to social development in Taraba, was described by the group as a source of inspiration to citizens, particularly those striving to overcome physical and social challenges.

INSECURITY: Two suspected kidnappers nabbed in Mayo Dassa, Jalingo.

Troops of six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters ,Jalingo have dismantled a notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorizing parts of Jalingo and Lau Local Government Areas of Taraba State. A statement by Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations Six Brigade Nigeria Army headquarters, Jalingo, Captain Olubodunde Oni says the Brigade act on an intelligence report and two suspects, identified as Ali Idi and Haruna Umar were apprehended early this week. The Resident Bishop United Methodist Church Nigeria Episcopal Area, Ande Emmanuel has decried continual tensions impacting the church in Nigeria.
