Outgoing YOWICAN, Muslim Youth Leaders Thank Governor Agbu Kefas for Timely Payment of Allowances.

The outgoing executives of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) and the leadership of the Muslim Council Youths in Taraba State have expressed profound gratitude to Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas for the prompt payment of their allowances as Special Assistants.

In a letter of appreciation jointly signed by Evangelist Jesse Ephesian JP, the immediate past YOWICAN Chairman in Taraba State, the youth leaders praised the governor for his swift and responsive leadership, describing the gesture as a morale booster and validation of their service to the state.

"Your timely action has demonstrated your commitment to the welfare of your appointees, and we are deeply appreciative," the statement read. "This gesture not only lifted our spirits but also confirmed the value Your Excellency places on the contributions of youths in governance."

The group commended the governor's inclusive and welfare-driven leadership style, noting that his support had strengthened their resolve to serve diligently throughout their tenure.

They also addressed concerns from some appointees who are yet to receive their payments due to administrative oversights, assuring them that the matter is being handled and that their allowances will be paid soon.

"As we conclude our tenure, we remain prayerful and hopeful that God will continue to bless and guide Your Excellency with wisdom, strength, and divine direction," the statement concluded.

The outgoing youth leaders reaffirmed their continued support for Governor Kefas’s administration and wished him success in his ongoing efforts to transform Taraba State.

TARABA: Jenjo Youth Wing Disowns Magaji Gago’s Alleged Remarks Against Kefas, Reaffirms Loyalty.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. According to Ismaila, the Bissaula community was thrown into panic on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at about 8:00 p.m., when unknown gunmen, suspected to be members of the Ndaka-Chamba militia, stormed the village and opened fire. Their primary target was said to be Baba Umaru Gambo, a former youth leader of the community and current Commander of the Taraba Marshal in Kurmi Local Government Area.
