Christmas: Gwomu Development Association fetes Christians on Christmas celebration,harps on peaceful coexistence.

The Leadership of Gwomu Development GDA wishes to rejoice with Taraba State Governor Dr Agbu Kefas on the occasion of the Christmas celebration.

The Association also felicitates Deputy Governor Alh Aminu Abdullahi Alkali, the Speaker RT Hon John Kizito Bonzena, Members of the Executive Council, Members Karim one and Two Hon Mike Dio Jen and Hon Anas Shuabi Didango,Permanent Secretaries, and Chairmen of Karim lamido Local government Council Hon Bitrus Danjos.

The Congratulatory message signed by the Secretary General GDA Comrade Joshua Leutin Baba on behalf of the National Chairman of GDA Comrade Elder Mamuda Yakson.

The GDA harps on the significance of the Christmas celebration, urging Tarabans to spread love, joy, and assistance to others in the society.

While reiterating the importance of peaceful coexistence, the GDA appreciated the tireless efforts Of Dr. Governor Agbu Kefas in restoring peace in the Gwomu Community following unrest sometime back this year.

The Association says words can not quantify their appreciation to Governor Dr Agbu Kefas as Gwomu nation for ensuring stability.

Troops of six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters ,Jalingo have dismantled a notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorizing parts of Jalingo and Lau Local Government Areas of Taraba State. TARABA: Jenjo Youth Wing Disowns Magaji Gago’s Alleged Remarks Against Kefas, Reaffirms Loyalty.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. According to Ismaila, the Bissaula community was thrown into panic on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at about 8:00 p.m., when unknown gunmen, suspected to be members of the Ndaka-Chamba militia, stormed the village and opened fire. Their primary target was said to be Baba Umaru Gambo, a former youth leader of the community and current Commander of the Taraba Marshal in Kurmi Local Government Area.
