National Minimum Wage:HOS Taraba State Elder Tino Paul says Computation of Civil Servants to benefit from National wage has commenced.
The Taraba State Head of Civil Service, Paul Maigida Tino says computation preparatory for the payment of the new national minimum wage in the state has already commenced.
The Head of Service made the disclosure during an interview shortly after a two day retreat for public servants and political office holders held in Jalingo.
Paul Maigida Tino said a committee for the implementation of the new national minimum wage has already swung into action to ensure civil servants in the state are not left out .
Paul Maigida identified godfatherism and nepotism as some of the practices affecting productivity in the service,stressing that competency will henceforth remain the watchword under the administration of Governor Agbu Kefas.
The Head of Service said more training will be organized with a view to ensuring effective service delivery in the workforce.
He expressed optimism that the service will received a boost owing to several trainings recieved by diffrent categories of workers in the state and called on the civil servants to rededicate their commitment towards ensuring maximum productivity.
