CRIME: Hon Sinjen,CP David Visited a teenager falsely accused of stealing money and was maltreated in Taraba State.

Taraba State Commissioner Ministry of Women Affairs and Child Development Hon Mary Sinjen has visited a teenager accused of stealing N5000 and was tortured by her guardians in the state.

The delegation  led by the Honorable Commissioner of Women Affairs and Child Development, Mrs Mary Sinjen, had Taraba State Commissioner of Police, CP David Iloyanomon in attendance.

Mrs Sinjen  during the visit,condemned the heinous act and assured the family that the perpetrators would be brought to book, emphasizing that such cruelty would not be tolerated. 
The Commissioner encouraged Bridget's father to take advantage of the free education policy introduced by Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas to enrol his other children into school instead of relying on others for sponsorship.

In his part the Taraba State Commissioner of Police, CP David Iloyanomon pledged to advocate for victims of similar atrocities in the state and called on people of the State to report any form of violation of ones rights, stressing that  justice will take its course.

Jalingo Times reported that this visit not only demonstrated the commitment of the commissioners to protecting vulnerable members of society but also offered a beacon of hope to Bridget and her family during a time of immense hardship.

The commissioners presented a gift of  financial assistance for Bridget's medical treatment and food items to cushion their hardship.

TARABA: Jenjo Youth Wing Disowns Magaji Gago’s Alleged Remarks Against Kefas, Reaffirms Loyalty.

The leadership of the Jenjo Youth Wing has publicly distanced itself from alleged remarks credited to Mr. Magaji Bulus Gago, popularly known as Max B, against Taraba State Governor, , and the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, . INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. According to Ismaila, the Bissaula community was thrown into panic on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at about 8:00 p.m., when unknown gunmen, suspected to be members of the Ndaka-Chamba militia, stormed the village and opened fire.
