CHURCH: Pastor Mark Tikwe of Christ Glorious Army Church Mile Six Jalingo has encouraged Christians to promote unity.
The Christ Glorious Army Church Mile Six today observed Cultural Sunday as members Praise God in the various local dialects.
In a sermon, the Resident pastor of Christ Glorious Army Church Mile Six Jalingo Mark Tikwe urged Christians to be united to succeed in winning more souls to the Kingdom of God.
Pastor Mark Tikwe said while delivering a sermon during a Sunday service marking Cultural Day.
The preacher tagged the sermon ' Understanding the Power of Unity ' and said when people unite they tend to achieve tangible results in all they desires to do.
Pastor Tikwe remarked that what Unite the Church is far Greater than what will separate them.
He enumerated benefits of unity to include, progress and development, manifest the powers of God,peace and abundant blessings.
Pastor Mark Tikwe said the Cultural Sunday service is being observed to remind members that despite their tribal differences,the Christ has united them to receive His salvation.
Jalingo Times reported that during the church service ,members appeared in their various cultural attires, and were also featured renditions of songs in their dialects, and playlets among others.

The tribes that made presentation of songs of praises in their dialects were the Jenjo, Kuteb, Mumuye, Jukun, Ichen, Bwatiye, Wurkun,Kilba,Mambilla and the Ghana residents in Jalingo.
