Birthday: Two-time African badminton Champion Jinkam celebrates birthday anniversary.

A Taraba State Born, Mr Jinkam Bulus Ifraimu Two times African badminton champion is a plus one. Jinkam Ifraimu Bulus was born in Numan Local Governmentent Area of the Defunct Gongola State now  Adamawa state. He attended his Primary School at Staff Primary School College of Education, Jalingo where he obtained his first leaving school certificate in 1999. He proceeded to Government Day Secondary School Nukkai, Jalingo for his Secondary Education. He later proceeded to the Citizens and Leadership Training Center Jos, Plateau State in the year 2005. Jinkam being a lover of sports and games gained admission into the Taraba State College of Education, Jalingo to study Physical and health education. He obtained a National Certificate in Education in the year 2009 upon completion of the program. Social Justice: Hon Filister Irarimam Musa urged parents to enrol their children in schools.

Parents and guardians in Taraba State have been commended for enrolling their children on Public schools. Commissioner Ministry of Social Justice and Reinterpretation  Hon Dr Filister Irarimam Musa made the commendation in an interview with our reporter in her office in Jalingo. The Commissioner said the action of the parents and guardians demonstrated their love for the education of their children. According to her, following the implementation of the Free Education policy in Taraba State, several pupils and Students in public schools soar higher. Dr Filister Musa said the policy would take many children of school age off the streets in the state, making the future of Taraba bright. Education: Taraba State Commissioner Ministry of Social Justice and Reinterpretation Hon Dr Filister donates instructional materials to pupils in Ussa LGA.

The Honorable Commissioner of  Taraba State Ministry of Social Justice and Re-integration, Dr. Filister Irarimam Musa PhD, and the National Association of Ussa Students Union have Supported Governor Kefas's Free Education Policy by distributing Learning Materials to pupils and Students. This is part of a move to bolster Governor Kefas's flagship of the free education policy. SPORTS: Taraba State Commissioner Ministry of Youths and Sports Development Hon Joseph Joshua describes Sports as a unifying factor.

The Commissioner Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Hon Joseph Joshua says the Taraba State Government is committed to using sports to promote unity. The Commissioner stated this while addressing the press as the world commemorates the Olympics Day Run also Known as the Olympic Day. He remarked that Day is set aside to encourage people to engage in exercise for their health benefit. According to him, this year's theme 'Unity in Diversity Through Sports' is apt as Sports are widely accepted as a unifying factor in society. Hon Joseph urged the people of the state to create time to engage in a five-kilometer run as part of the commemoration. UNION: AUPTRE Northeast Council organises educational training for Taraba workers in Jalingo.

An educational training workshop for members of the Amalgamated Union of Public Corporations, Civil Service Technical, and Recreational Services Employees, AUPCTRE has been held in Jalingo. The educational workshop with the theme,' Building AUPCTRE members' consciousness for policy engagement 'had in attendance members of the union across the Northeast zone of the country. Speaking during the workshop, the Taraba state Head of civil service Paul Maigida Tino commended the AUPCTRE for organizing the work. The Head of service who was represented by the Director Establishment, Naomi Aman urged participants to make good use of the knowledge gained during the workshop for efficiency at work. Leaders of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives,      NANNM at unit Branches in Taraba State have asked to work towards the progress of the association. This formed the central message of the two-day stepdown Induction training for State Executive Council SEC members at the Nurse's House Jalingo. Delivering a paper on the History of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives NANNM, the National Auditor-one, Comrd David Nanushi Tsokwa said leaders should strive to know the history of the association and its journey so far.
