Politics: Sardauna LG boss welcomed home.

The newly elected chairman of Sardauna local government Council Honorable Mohammed J Umar has been given a rousy welcome by the good people of the area in Gembu.


On arrival to Gembu the Administrative headquarters of Sardauna, the chairman and his entourage paid to courtesy visit on the Chief of Mambilla His Royal Majesty Dr. Shehu Audu Baju II. 

Speaking during the visit the Head of Service of the local government area Dr. Joseph Peter Diah appreciated God for the journey mercies and warmth welcomed accorded the Chairman and his entourage.

Joseph appreciated the people of Sardauna for supporting him while serving as the Head of Local Government Administration HOLGA and urged them to extend same gesture to the new leadership of the council.

While thanking the Royal father for his fatherly advice and support Joseph encouraged the Chairman to work diligently for the development of the area.

  He urged the Chairman to be a detrabalise leader as that will aid him to succeed.

Honorable Abdullahi. A Juglude appreciated His Royal Majesty and the good people of Sardauna for turning out en masse to welcome the Chairman and his entourage.

 He also thanked the Governor Doctor Agbu Kefas for conducting a peaceful polls across the sixteen local government areas of the state and urge the newly elected chairman to work with his people to usher in development to the area.

In his remarks,the Chairman Sardauna local government Council, honorable Mohammed J. Umar, thanked the Governor Doctor Agbu Kefas, critical stakeholders in the area and the good people of Sardauna for trusting him with their mandate. 

The Chairman assured the people that he will put in his best to see that the dividends of democracy reach the grassroots. 

Responding the Chief of Mambilla His Royal Majesty Dr. Shehu Audu Baju ll expressed gratitude to God and also thanked the stakeholders for standing strong to protect their interest by entrusting their mandate to Honorable Mohammed J Umar. 

The monarch thanked the Governor Doctor Agbu Kefas for appointing Mambilla sons and Daughters into his cabinet and the unalloyed support of Mambilla Chiefdom to the Success of his administration in the state. 

Doctor Shehu Baju ll Congratulated the Chairman,his Vice and all the Councillors of the legislative Council on their Victory at the polls and advised them to carry everyone a long in the discharge of their duties to move the local government area forward.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area.
