Santii festival: Hon Shonruba calls for promotion of Mumuye culture.

Mumuye nation have been encouraged to always promote their culture.

Member representing Ardo Kola State Constituency, Honorable Happy Shonruba stated this in an interview with our reporter in Pantisawa Yorro Zing Local during Santii festival.

Shonruba said Mumuye race are blessed with rich cultural heritage that need to be portrait to the world.

The Legislator said the Santii festival is one among the many cultural traditions of the Mumuye race and it observation dwells on promoting peace and Unity.

Happy Shonruba advocate partnership with Government and corporate organisations to ensure Yam is processed and preserved in the state.

He added that so doing will provide job opportunities for the youths and boost the revenue of farmers.

The lawmaker lauded the organisers of the Event for ensuring Mumuye are united through this means for a prosperous Society.

Some participants interviewed expressed joy for the success of the event they said always bring them together annually.
