Dr Agbu Kefas bags Award of excellence.

Taraba State Governor Doctor Agbu Kefas has been presented with a prestigious award of Excellence.

Commissioner ministry of Waste Management and Innovation, Honorable Shonzen James Bernard made the presentation on behalf of leadership of the Mumuye Cultural Development Association at Pantisawa, Yorro local government area.

He said the award is in recognition of the Governor's efforts in developing the state.

Honorable Shonzen pledged the support of the Mumuye nation to the present government in the state to Succeed in executing its human oriented policies and programmes.

Responding,the Governor Doctor Agbu Kefas represented by the Deputy Governor Alh. Aminu Abdullahi Alkali appreciated the recognition done him by the mumuye.

SCHOOL: Taraba Nursing College Denies ₦5,250 Extortion Allegation Linked to NELFUND Loan.

The Management of the Taraba State College of Nursing and Midwifery Jalingo has denied allegations circulating on social media that it extorted ₦5,250 from students following the disbursement of funds under the (NELFUND). The allegation, which was attributed to one Abdulmumin Imam in a social media post, claimed that the management of the college, including the Provost, compelled students to pay the amount after receiving their NELFUND loans. INSECURITY: Two suspected kidnappers nabbed in Mayo Dassa, Jalingo.

Troops of six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters ,Jalingo have dismantled a notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorizing parts of Jalingo and Lau Local Government Areas of Taraba State. A statement by Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations Six Brigade Nigeria Army headquarters, Jalingo, Captain Olubodunde Oni says the Brigade act on an intelligence report and two suspects, identified as Ali Idi and Haruna Umar were apprehended early this week.
