NUT: Taraba State still Owes two years monthly dues for the Union.Nathan✍️✍️

Chairman Nigeria Union of Teachers NUT Taraba State Chapter, Comrade Nathan Solomon has  appreciated Governor Agbu Kefas for reinstating sixteen teachers sacked by immediate past administration in the state.

The Chairman also commended the Governor for directing settlement of their eighteen months outstanding salaries.

Nathan Solomon in an interview revealed that the reinstated teachers were sacked by the immediate past administration following the NUT leadership tussle which has been settled by Governor Agbu Kefas.

Comrade Solomon said the action of the Governor Agbu Kefas demonstrated the passion he has in fostering unity and oneness in the state.

He refuted the news making the rounds the Governor Agbu Kefas has settled the outstanding union dues of NUT saying what the Governor did was reinstating sixteen teachers sacked and settling their outstanding salaries.

He said people should verify any information they laid hands on before spreading it to the public in the interest of the peace.

He said the state Government still owed two years monthly dues which the immediate past administration did not remitted to the union.

On the resumption of schools,the Chairman said the enrollment of pupils at Primary Schools levels in the state has been commendable.

He revealed that in some schools about three hundred pupils has been enrolled, citing Jauro Gbadi Primary School, Jalingo as an example for registering such in the state capital, Jalingo.

He lauded the Governor Doctor Agbu Kefas for providing a platform to offer free Education to Students and pupils in Taraba, saying that the gesture is unprecedented.

TARABA: Jenjo Youth Wing Disowns Magaji Gago’s Alleged Remarks Against Kefas, Reaffirms Loyalty.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. According to Ismaila, the Bissaula community was thrown into panic on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at about 8:00 p.m., when unknown gunmen, suspected to be members of the Ndaka-Chamba militia, stormed the village and opened fire. Their primary target was said to be Baba Umaru Gambo, a former youth leader of the community and current Commander of the Taraba Marshal in Kurmi Local Government Area.
