TSU Jalingo SUG officials Inaugurated.

New officials of the Taraba State University Jalingo Students' Union Government,SUG have been inaugurated.

The Inauguration ceremony took place at the Lecture Theatre ,LT D, of the institution.

Those inaugurated are David Bazoka, President,John Godwin Bello vice president,James Joseph Musa Secretary General and Emmanuel Simon Ibrahim as Assistant Secretary General.

Others are Audu Shadrach Samaila Financial Secretary, Daniel Nnamdi Ugwu Director Social, Zino Bako Director of Sports , Elizabeth Stanley Treasurer and Pennah Audu Pepsy as Business Director.

Yunana Yusuf Nyani Auditor General,Nasira Simon welfare Director, Nathan John Danburam Health Director,Moses Confidence Public Relations Officer and Rose Agada as Women leader.

Administrating the oath of office, the Director Legal Services, Taraba state University Jalingo, Barrister Bagudu Joseph urged the officials to heed to the oath taken.

He Congratulated them and wished the well as they steer the affairs of Students'Union Government SUG Taraba State University Jalingo.

In his acceptance speech,the President, Students' Union Government, SUG Comrade, David Bazoka pledged to run an all inclusive Government.

Bazoka said" we will be committed to the vision and collective aspirations of our founding fathers to building more unity,create wealth and Economic prosperity of our dear Students".

Comrd.David Bazoka appreciated the university management and students for given them the mandate to serve,promising not to fail them.

"I appreciate all different structures who joined forces together to support the Reformation agenda to reshape our Association",he said.

He reiterated his commitment to promote the vision and collective aspirations of the SUGs founding fathers to promote unity ,create wealth and Economic prosperity among students.

The SUG president said " I want to sincerely express my heartfelt gratitude to all the Senators,the outgoing SUG president, faculty president for their sacrifices to the Union,You have spoken loud by giving me your votes as president Taraba state University Jalingo,I say thank you once again to all our team".

On her part the Dean Students Affairs, Associate Professor Rebecca Irani represented by the students Affairs Officer,Mr. Micah Yusuf Congratulated the  officials and urged them to prioritize the interest of Students in all they do.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area.
