Monthly Sanitation: Committee arrests defaulters, commends Mayo-Belwa residents for compliance.

By Atanga Philip Yola, Adamawa State  The Adamawa state Monthly Sanitation Committee has visited Mayo-Belwa Local Government Area to monitor the exercise, for the month of January, where a considerable level of compliance was recorded. The delegation, consisting of Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries and Directors stormed Cottage Hospital, Mayo-Belwa, as its first Port of call to inspect hygienic or otherwise condition of the facility. They were conducted round the health facility by the management in company of the council chairman and other stakeholders in the area. Pilgrimage: Adamawa contingents warned against truancy, misdemeanour.

Fifty kidnapped victims were rescued last year by the troops of Nigerian Army in Taraba State. Commander Six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters Jalingo Brigadier General Kingsley Chidiebere Uwa disclosed this when management of Worldview Magazine presented an award of Crime Fighter of the Year twenty twenty four to him today . He said the successes have  led to the neutralisation of one hundred criminals that have been terrorizing communities in the state..
