Fifty kidnapped victims were rescued last year by the troops of Nigerian Army in Taraba State.
Commander Six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters Jalingo Brigadier General Kingsley Chidiebere Uwa disclosed this when management of Worldview Magazine presented an award of Crime Fighter of the Year twenty twenty four to him today .
He said the successes have led to the neutralisation of one hundred criminals that have been terrorizing communities in the state..
Brigadier General Kingsley said the military will not relent in it's oars to ensure people of Taraba State sleep with their two eyes closed.
Uwa who appreciated the management of Worldview Magazine for the recognition,said all hands must be on deck to address security challenges.
He commended Journalists in the state for balance reportage and sued for its sustenance in the interest of peace and progress of the state.
Earlier,the Editor in Chief and Managing Director of Worldview Magazine, Mr Williams Ayooso said the recognition done him followed his track records in fighting insecurity in the state.
He revealed that the Commander has performed better hence the presentation of the award to serve as a morale booster to the military.
Williams Ayooso while reiterating the readiness of the Worldview Magazine to give the Brigade the needed publicity,said this is the best way Journalists will compliment security of lives and property.
He said there is need for more synergy from stakeholders in combating crimes and criminalities for a healthy society.

The Chairman Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Taraba State Council, Comrade Mathew Eliud Jen said the council consented with the decision of Worldview Magazine publishers to honor the Commander for a job well done in Taraba State.
He remarked that the Commander and heads of other security outfits in Taraba State are doing well and urged them to keep the flag flying.
There were goodwill messages by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Digital Economy, Justin Typoosu, Chairman Correspondents' Chapel of NUJ Gabriel Yough .
