Pilgrimage: Adamawa contingents warned against truancy, misdemeanour.

Adamawa State Christians Pilgrim Welfare Board, has organized orientation and farewell service for the twenty twenty four intending Pilgrims to Israel and Jordan with a charge on them to be of good behavior while away.

The service which held at EYN Church state low cost aims to orient the intending Pilgrims, bothering on use of facilities, in Israel and Jordan vis-à-vis us of Airport, Hotel and Restaurants.

In a welcome address, Chairman, Adamawa state Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Bishop Theophilus Shadrach urged the intending Pilgrims to prioritise service to God and imbibe a sense of decorum at the pilgrimage.

Reverend Shadrach admonished them to consider it a privilege and an opportunity to strengthen their Christian faith by way of physically seeing what they read in the Bible.

In his sermon, Head Chaplain Reverend Father Jacob Iranda emphasized the need for unity amongst the intending Pilgrims as they set to depart the country and have a new experience elsewhere.

He reminded them on the need for sustained peace in Adamawa and unity of the Nigerian citizens.

In a goodwill message, Adamawa state Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Doctor Joel Manzo prayed that this year's journey be transformative and not just as excursion.

He wished them blessings of God and safe trip to and fro.

Also Speaking, the head of government delegation to the Holy Land, Murum Mbula, Bwaltam Bentley Biyapo noted that for the twenty twenty four pilgrimage, in Adamawa, to hold this year in God's plan.

He assured of high level of coordination, comportment and orderliness amongst his team.

Bentley Biyapo warned against truancy and mischief adding that anyone caught wanting would be made to face the appropriate sanction.

Some of the intending pilgrims interviewed expressed joy over the development and hoped that the news experience will spur and deepen their faith and committed to praying for the nation while in the Holy Land.

They are Arch Bishop Reverend Doctor Japhet Tomwaso, Reverend Doctor Buntausa Amos Sunday and Mrs. Rosemary Ayuba.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. According to Ismaila, the Bissaula community was thrown into panic on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at about 8:00 p.m., when unknown gunmen, suspected to be members of the Ndaka-Chamba militia, stormed the village and opened fire. INSECURITY: Two suspected kidnappers nabbed in Mayo Dassa, Jalingo.

Troops of six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters ,Jalingo have dismantled a notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorizing parts of Jalingo and Lau Local Government Areas of Taraba State. A statement by Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations Six Brigade Nigeria Army headquarters, Jalingo, Captain Olubodunde Oni says the Brigade act on an intelligence report and two suspects, identified as Ali Idi and Haruna Umar were apprehended early this week. The statement adds that the culprits were captured during a raid at a local hotel in Mayo Dassa area of Jalingo metropolis where they were hiding.
