2027: Benard Nuki Bandawa Campaign Team Declares Readiness for Ardo-Kola, Karim Lamido, Lau Constituency.

The campaign organisation of Hon. Benard Anthony Nuki Bandawa, candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Ardo-Kola, Karim Lamido and Lau Federal Constituency, has declared its readiness to commence grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a notification dated August 20, 2026, the campaign team formally informed constituents that the electoral campaign season had commenced, following the announcement by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The campaign organisation said it was fully prepared to embark on engagements across the three Local Government Areas that make up the federal constituency, with plans to visit wards, polling units and residential communities.

According to the statement, the engagements are aimed at presenting Bandawa's political vision to constituents and mobilising support for his candidacy in the 2027 House of Representatives election.

The campaign team also appealed to eligible voters and other stakeholders to uphold peace, unity and mutual respect throughout the electoral process.

It stressed that a peaceful and orderly campaign environment would be essential to ensuring a credible, free and fair election that reflects the will of the people.

“As we embark on this critical phase leading to the general elections, we earnestly call on every eligible voter to uphold the values of peace, unity, and mutual respect,” the campaign organisation stated.

The team further expressed optimism about receiving a warm reception from constituents, while calling for constructive engagement and collective support towards what it described as a brighter future for the constituency.

The campaign notification was signed on behalf of the campaign organisation by Hon. Benard Anthony Nuki Bandawa.

Bandawa is contesting under the platform of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the House of Representatives seat representing Ardo-Kola, Karim Lamido and Lau Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. INSECURITY: Two suspected kidnappers nabbed in Mayo Dassa, Jalingo.

Troops of six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters ,Jalingo have dismantled a notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorizing parts of Jalingo and Lau Local Government Areas of Taraba State.  A statement by Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations Six Brigade Nigeria Army headquarters, Jalingo, Captain Olubodunde Oni says the Brigade act on an intelligence report and two suspects, identified as Ali Idi and Haruna Umar were apprehended early this week.
