The newly sworn-in Executive Chairman of Numan Local Government Area of Adamawa State ,Hon Arch. Zamgopwa Zidon has pledged to deliver transparent, accountable and people-oriented governance, promising to prioritize infrastructure development, youth and women empowerment, education, healthcare and peaceful coexistence.
Speaking shortly after taking the oath of office, the council chairman Hon. Arch Zangopwa Zidon expressed gratitude to God for what he described as His grace, mercy and faithfulness throughout his political journey.
He also appreciated the Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for the confidence reposed in him, while acknowledging the support of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), traditional rulers, religious leaders, party stakeholders, friends, supporters and the people of Numan Local Government.
Describing his emergence as a collective victory, the chairman said the mandate belonged to every resident who desired a more united, prosperous and progressive Numan.
He assured the people that his administration would be guided by integrity, transparency, humility and dedication, adding that efforts would be geared towards improving critical infrastructure, creating opportunities for youths and women, strengthening education and healthcare services, and promoting sustainable peace and development across the local government.
The chairman appealed to residents to continue supporting his administration through prayers, cooperation and constructive engagement, stressing that collective efforts would be required to achieve the desired transformation of the council.
He expressed optimism that with the support of all stakeholders, Numan Local Government would witness meaningful development and improved service delivery under his leadership.
