Grassroots politician and humanitarian activist, Hon. Arc. Aji Paul Wampana, has commenced the drilling of a borehole in Kabang, Mubi South Local Government Area of Adamawa State, as part of efforts to improve access to clean and safe drinking water across the M3 axis.
The borehole project, which is expected to benefit residents of Kabang and other communities in the area, forms part of Wampana's ongoing grassroots development initiatives aimed at improving the living conditions of rural dwellers.
Speaking on the project, supporters described the intervention as another demonstration of Wampana's commitment to delivering people-oriented projects that directly address the needs of local communities.
They noted that the provision of potable water would reduce the burden on women and children, who often travel long distances in search of water, while also improving public health and sanitation.
According to them, the commencement of the drilling exercise reflects Wampana's commitment to translating development plans into tangible projects that positively impact the lives of the people.
The supporters further described the initiative as a significant step toward enhancing the welfare of rural communities and setting a benchmark for responsive leadership in the M3 area and the Adamawa Northern Zone.
They expressed optimism that the project would provide lasting relief to residents and contribute to the socio-economic development of the benefiting communities.
The group also offered prayers for Hon. Wampana, asking God to grant him the strength and wisdom to sustain his humanitarian and community development efforts.
