The Taraba State College of Health Technology, Takum, has announced that its long-awaited convocation ceremony will hold from July 23 to 25, 2026, following the approval of the dates by the Governor of Taraba State.
The announcement was contained in an internal memo dated July 15, 2026, and signed by the Registrar, Micah A. Angyu, on behalf of the Provost.
According to the memo, the three-day convocation will celebrate graduates of the institution from 1995 to 2025, marking a significant milestone in the college's history.
Management disclosed that the approval was graciously granted by the Executive Governor of Taraba State, paving the way for what is expected to be one of the institution's biggest academic events.
The memo directed all Heads of Departments (HODs) to notify members of staff and students that their participation in the convocation activities is mandatory, emphasizing the importance of the event to the college community.
The convocation is expected to bring together thousands of alumni, staff, students, dignitaries and other stakeholders to celebrate decades of academic achievements and the institution's contributions to healthcare manpower development in Taraba State and beyond.
