Transportation: Alhaji Habu Umar is the legitimate Chairman AMDON Taraba State Chapter.

 Caretaker Committee Chairman Association of Motor Dealers of Nigeria, AMDON Taraba State Chapter, Alhaji Habu Umar has said he remains the interim leader of the association in Taraba state.

Habu Umar was reacting to the purported inauguration of  Yalla Kadara as the Chairman of the Taraba state branch of the association.


He remarked that the National leadership of the Association had  in its letter  dated February twelve twenty twenty four by the National Secretary, Alhaji  Sulieman Ibrahim Kato suspended the Former Chairman Alhaji Adamu Aliyu and appointed him and other members to serve in Acting capacity.

He said the  inauguration of Yalla Kadara contravened the directive of the association and urged the public to disregard the move.


Habu called on the members of the association in Taraba State to remain calm and work in unity for the progress of the association


Also speaking, the Public Relations Officer,Musa Sani Ibi said  Alhaji Habu Umar  is  the legitimate Acting Chairman of the Association in Taraba state as   directived by  the National body following the suspension of the former leadership.


Musa Ibi  listed the Caretaker Committee approved by the National leadership of AMDON to include, Alhaji Habu Umar as Chairman, Mr  Habila Assendere Vice Chairman,  Alhaji Dauda Aminu Ngubin  as the Secretary.

Others are  Alhaji Isa Mailala Treasurer,  Alhaji Gambo Ali Abbare as Auditor and  Alhaji Musa Sani Ibi as the Public Relations Officer, PRO in acting capacity.

He lauded the leadership style of the acting Chairman who he described has within shortest time worked tirelessly in uniting members in the state.

The spokesman however lauded the good initiatives of Taraba State Governor Doctor Agbu Kefas in all sectors saying the warmth reception accorded the leaders of the association is a moral booster to invest massively in Transportation sector in the state.

It could be recalled that a factional leaderof the association Yalla Kadara has told newsmen that it has broken away from the Caretaker committee and formed its own Branch in Taraba State.
