Education: E.S Elder Dan'azumi Navoki Hassan lauds the acceptability of free Education policy in Taraba State.

Executive Secretary Taraba State Post Primary Schools Management Board, Dan'azumi Navoki Hassan has lauded the acceptability of free Education policy in the state.

The Executive Secretary in an interview also commended Teachers across secondary schools for imparting knowledge on Students.

Dan'azumi Navoki Hassan remarked that he was impressed by the turnout of Students in public schools visited in the state urging teachers to maintain the good work they are doing.

He said the acceptability of the Free Education policy in the state shows the passion parents and guardians have to educate their children to be good ambassadors of the state and the nation.

Hassan revealed that he was thrilled by the excellent performance of principals and Teachers at Government Day Secondary School Gidin Waya, Government Secondary School, Ibi,Sabon Pegi and Ibi central.

He reiterated the resolve of the board to ensure that all challenges faced in Schools are forwarded to appropriate authority for needed action.

The Executive Secretary appreciated the Governor for prioritizing Education saying it will reduce the rate of crime and criminalities in the society.

INSECURITY: Two suspected kidnappers nabbed in Mayo Dassa, Jalingo.

Troops of six Brigade Nigerian Army headquarters ,Jalingo have dismantled a notorious kidnapping syndicate terrorizing parts of Jalingo and Lau Local Government Areas of Taraba State. A statement by Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations Six Brigade Nigeria Army headquarters, Jalingo, Captain Olubodunde Oni says the Brigade act on an intelligence report and two suspects, identified as Ali Idi and Haruna Umar were apprehended early this week. The statement adds that the culprits were captured during a raid at a local hotel in Mayo Dassa area of Jalingo metropolis where they were hiding. The Resident Bishop United Methodist Church Nigeria Episcopal Area, Ande Emmanuel has decried continual tensions impacting the church in Nigeria. The Bishop, in a Press briefing in Jalingo, condemned any act of violence or disrespect to the church, referencing the attack at Banyan Theological Seminary in the Bambur Community of Karim Lamido Local government area.
