 SUG president elect Bazoka.. "I will prioritize Students welfare"

President-elect Student's Union Government, Taraba State University Jalingo David Bazoka said welfare of students will be his top priority.

Comrade David Bazoka stated this in an interview with our reporter in Jalingo.

He said he will strive to ensure that students of the Taraba State University Jalingo  are adequately taken care of.

The SUG president said he has observed that students lack adequate lecture halls, functional health facilities in the University community as well as lack of water and electricity at hostels.
"I have gone round the school Community to see what are the challenges our students are facing,i came to realize that in some departments there are no lecture halls for students,the only clinic we have i don't think they have paracetamol to give to the sick one,this is worrisome, if you go to Zenith Hostel,they don't have light and water and they are supposed to have them for conducive learning he said.

 Comrade David Said with the support of his cabinet they will impressed on management of the institution to provide conducive learning environment for students for maximal performance.

Comrade David Bazoka commended the effort of the Governor Doctor Agbu Kefas so far in the Education sector, saying it is an indicator he will address the teething challenges in Education sector of the state.
The SUG president remarked the"We are lucky to have come on board when the new Governor Doctor Agbu Kefas is here in the state,we will work together with him and inform him about some challenges our students are facing in the University community.
On the commencement of Examination in the institution,the SUG president warned students to desist from indulging into examination malpractices, cultism among other bad characters to have a brighter future.

Comrade Bazoka appreciated the students of the institution for given him the mandate to steer the affairs of the Student's Union in the institution.
He added i want to appreciate delegates and the entire students of the university for giving me the opportunity to represent as they know that i will not fail them, to those we contested together but they didn't win the election it is time to unite and build a formidable feats for the Taraba state University so that our students can enjoy and be peaceful.

Comrade David Bazoka said in a bit unite associations in the University,said he will have meeting with students representatives from the senate,departmental presidents to course reps to discuss possible ways of uniting our students.
He pledged to run an inclusive Government and solicited support from management and students of  Taraba State University Jalingo to enable him succeed.

INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area.
