The Management of Taraba State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Jalingo, has commended workers across the state for their resilience, dedication, and contributions to societal development, as Nigeria marks the 2026 International Workers’ Day.
In a statement issued on Friday, the College joined the Taraba State Government and citizens in celebrating workers in all sectors, describing them as critical drivers of growth and service delivery.
The message was signed by the Registrar, Christopher Bala, on behalf of the Management.
The Management also acknowledged the leadership of Governor Agbu Kefas and other top government officials, including the Deputy Governor, Aminu Abdullahi Alkali; Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Kizito Bonzena; and Chief Judge of the state, Justice Joel Filibus Agya, for their continued support and commitment to the development of the state.
It further recognized the roles of the Secretary to the State Government, Gebon Timothy Kataps; Head of Civil Service, Aminu Kara; and the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Mike Deo Jen, alongside other members of the state executive and workforce.
Within the institution, the Management praised staff members for their professionalism and unwavering commitment to excellence in healthcare education, noting that their efforts have sustained high standards in training and discipline.
The statement encouraged workers to remain united and committed to the principles of diligence, integrity, and service to humanity.
It also reaffirmed the College’s commitment to staff welfare, promising to maintain a conducive environment that supports productivity and growth.
