A governorship aspirant under the platform of the Accord Party in Taraba State, Jerome Nyameh, has officially obtained the party’s expression of interest and nomination forms ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
Nyameh, popularly known as “The People’s Professor” and “Taraba Therapy,” disclosed this in a statement shortly after securing the forms, describing the move as part of his commitment to offer purposeful leadership and a fresh direction for the state.
The governorship hopeful said his ambition is driven by the desire to build a Taraba where governance, development, integrity, and opportunities are accessible to all citizens irrespective of political affiliation or social status.
According to him, the 2027 governorship contest should go beyond political party sentiments and focus more on competence, credibility, integrity, and practical plans capable of transforming the state.
He called on the people of Taraba State to unite and support what he described as a collective mission to reposition the state for sustainable growth and inclusive development.
Nyameh also expressed appreciation to his supporters and residents of the state for their confidence and encouragement, assuring that a people-oriented administration remains possible with the right leadership.
The Accord Party aspirant maintained that “a New Taraba is possible,” while reaffirming his readiness to engage with citizens across the state as political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 elections in Taraba State.
