Hon. Meshach Godwin Tula has officially purchased the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to contest for the Ardo-Kola/Karim-Lamido/Lau Federal Constituency seat, in a move supporters describe as a significant step toward renewed political direction in the area.
The development was disclosed in a statement issued by Abdulhamid Bakoji Shehu, Chairman of the Progressive Movement for Better Ardo-Kola/Karim-Lamido/Lau Federal Constituency, who described the action as a milestone in the constituency’s political journey.
According to the statement, Tula’s decision to enter the race reflects growing calls among constituents for leadership that prioritizes effective representation, grassroots development, and inclusiveness.
“This is more than a political formality; it is a bold and decisive step toward the liberation of our constituency,” the statement read, adding that the move aligns with the aspirations of residents seeking responsive and visionary leadership.
The group further noted that Tula’s ambition has ignited optimism across communities in Ardo-Kola, Karim-Lamido, and Lau, with stakeholders expressing hope for a new phase of progress and purposeful governance.
Shehu called on residents to remain united and committed to the collective goal of achieving sustainable development in the constituency.
Hon. Tula is expected to formally declare his candidacy in the coming weeks as political activities gradually intensify ahead of the elections.
