CHRISTMAS:Tarabans Urged to Celebrate Yuletide Peacefully.

Tarabans have been urged to embrace peace and harmony during the yuletide celebrations.

The call was made by the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Taraba State Wing, Comrade Nathan Solomon, during an interview with our correspondent.

Comrade Solomon noted that Christmas symbolizes love, care, and compassion, stressing the importance of reaching out to the less privileged in society.

He therefore encouraged residents of the state to conduct themselves peacefully throughout the festive period.

While wishing Tarabans a joyful and peaceful yuletide celebration, the NUT Chairman also appealed to citizens to pray for the Executive Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, and members of his cabinet.

According to him, such prayers will provide divine guidance and wisdom to the governor in the implementation of his developmental agenda for the state.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention.
