BUSINESS: Kefas’ Pro-Business Policies Spark Investment Boom as Taraba Firm Employs 200+ Youths.

Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has been described as a business-friendly leader whose policies have created an enabling environment for investment and enterprise in the state.

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer,CEO of Next Tsaraba Bakery and Water Nigeria Limited, Mr. Sunday Haruna, made the assertion in an interview with our correspondent in Jalingo, noting that the present administration has adopted policies that are supportive of business growth and sustainability.

Mr. Haruna explained that having operated and conducted business in different parts of the country and beyond, Taraba State stands out as one of the most conducive environments for smooth business operations. He attributed this to the investor-friendly disposition of the state government under Governor Kefas.

He disclosed that in a bid to contribute to job creation and reduce unemployment among youths, Next Tsaraba Factory has employed over 200 job seekers. According to him, the employees are currently engaged across three major sectors of the company, namely the bakery unit, kitchen services, and the water production plant.

The Chairman also commended the Executive Chairman of the Taraba State Revenue Service, retired General Jeremiah Aliyu Faransa, for his cordial relationship with the company, describing him as supportive and responsive to the needs of businesses operating in the state.

Mr. Haruna further called on wealthy individuals to invest in Taraba State, urging them to channel resources into productive ventures rather than keeping funds idle in banks.

 He encouraged investors to support innovative business ideas capable of establishing firms that would create employment opportunities for youths.
Sunday Haruna also advised young people in the state to remain patient and cultivate the habit of investing wisely, stressing that sustained investments would, over time, yield growth and contribute meaningfully to the economic development of Taraba State.

TARABA: Jenjo Youth Wing Disowns Magaji Gago’s Alleged Remarks Against Kefas, Reaffirms Loyalty.

The leadership of the Jenjo Youth Wing has publicly distanced itself from alleged remarks credited to Mr. Magaji Bulus Gago, popularly known as Max B, against Taraba State Governor, , and the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, . INSECURITY:Bissaula Community Leader Raises Alarm Over Renewed Attack, Calls for Lasting Security Deployment.

A community leader in Bissaula Ward of Kurmi Local Government Area, Taraba State, Alhaji Idi Ismaila, has decried a fresh wave of violence that disrupted the fragile peace recently restored to the area. He made the remarks during a press briefing where he recounted the latest attack and appealed for urgent government intervention. According to Ismaila, the Bissaula community was thrown into panic on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at about 8:00 p.m., when unknown gunmen, suspected to be members of the Ndaka-Chamba militia, stormed the village and opened fire. Their primary target was said to be Baba Umaru Gambo, a former youth leader of the community and current Commander of the Taraba Marshal in Kurmi Local Government Area.
